I'm Laura, and currently I lead a small team of digital product designers at iRobot. My approach is centered around collaboration; design is most successful when we are solving problems together with product and engineering from the start. Strong working relationships mean less back-and-forth, better solutions, and work that actually ships.

Most of my work lives at the intersection of technical systems and real human behavior. I've spent most of my career finding elegant solutions for complicated products, balancing what the system needs with what makes sense to people using it.

Prior to iRobot, I was a founding designer twice, led design efforts on large, cross-functional teams, and have freelanced with early-stage startups to deliver everything from their first website to early product concepts.

When I'm not working, you'll find me tackling interior design projects, experimenting with photography or hanging out with my family.
