I’m Laura, and I lead a team of digital product designers at iRobot. I bring product, design, and engineering together early so we’re solving the right problems from the start. That alignment leads to clearer decisions and work that actually ships.
 

I care about how things are built, not just how they look. I work closely with engineering to understand constraints, edge cases, and how the system really behaves, because that’s where many of the most important design decisions happen.
 

Most of my work sits at the intersection of technical systems and real human behavior. I’ve spent my career designing for complex products, balancing what the system needs with what makes sense to the people using it.
 

I’m especially interested in how emerging technology becomes part of everyday experiences. Whether it’s automation, personalization, or AI-driven behavior, I think a lot about how these systems show up over time and how people learn to interact with them.

Prior to iRobot, I was a founding designer twice, led design efforts on large, cross-functional teams, and have freelanced with early-stage startups to deliver everything from their first website to early product concepts.
